yes virginia, their really is a santa claus.....he was born of a virgin mind.......he is the son of human invention........he came down to entertain us and save us from our clinical depression..... he may really be a woman or black or developmentally disabled ,but it doesn't matter and only makes him/her better........he/she comes back every year to judge us with gifts or coal instead of this limited second coming to save or damn on a one time basis....santa takes nor demands a collection or tithe or much at all aside from being good.....and nothing is meaner than robbing a child of the dreams and hopes of the season and the magic of the jolly old myth that perserveres,albeit evolving like many firmly held beliefs. what could possibly be more sincere or off the human humor scale than a little girl, upon just learning from her mother that there is no santa claus, exclaiming "and i suppose next you will tell me there is no easter bunny too"
